Guide tubes help direct a borescope to its destination. Such direction is important when the inspection site must be reached repeatedly and/or when the borescope must remain securely fixed at the inspection site. Made of stainless steel or flexible tubing, Machida guide tubes are designed for specific use with size, shape, material, angulation freedom, and other characteristics dictated by parameters of the engine or device undergoing examination. Machida recently announced two innovative additions to our videoscope product line. A 2mm Videoscope, VSC-2-86, and a 3mm Working Channel Videoscope, VSC-3-65C. Both units work with either the 15” Video Processor, 7-5050, or the 10” Portable Video Processor, 7-6060, and provide the same high quality image as the VSC-3-140-N Videoscope.
